MEGAN SELHEIM
ABOUT MEGAN
Megan is currently the Program Coordinator for the Stop Violence Program at the University of Wyoming. In this role, she provides confidential advocacy to university survivors, organizes prevention programming for the campus community, and advises a student organization dedicated to raising awareness of sexual assault at UW. Megan is also an active member of the Wyoming Coalition Against Sexual Assault and the Wyoming Sexual Violence Prevention Council, and has a passion for improving advocacy and prevention education services in rural communities. She has a B.S. in Biology from the College of William and Mary in Virginia and an M.F.A. in Documentary Film from Montana State University; she is beginning an Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration at the University of Wyoming. Prior to her current work in Wyoming, Megan worked as a confidential advocate and prevention educator at Montana State University, the University of Montana, and for the community domestic violence and rape crisis programs in Bozeman, MT. She currently lives in Laramie, WY with her partner and daughter.
